A little about EJ Gallo...

The Ernest and Julio Gallo Winery was founded by the two brothers in 1933.  In its first year as a winery they sold 177,847 gallons of wine.  By year two it was 440,000 gallons.  Today, 83 years later, the E&J Gallo Winery is the largest family owned winery in the world!  Our portfolio consists of over 75 Wine and Spirit brands that cover the spectrum of price points, as well as countries of origin.  The Winery grows and produces wine from every major growing region in the world and exports to almost 100 countries!

As a family-owned winery, it is a priority to us that future generations can experience the natural resources we enjoy today. In fact, our commitment to the environment began in the 1930s when co-founders Ernest and Julio Gallo introduced an innovative approach to land conservation in the North Coast known as the “50/50 Give Back” plan. For every acre of land planted in vineyard, one acre of property was set aside for wildlife habitat — a practice that continues today in the North Coast. We also proudly support the American Farmland Trust in their efforts to help protect our nation’s farm and ranch land, promote environmentally sound farming practices, and improve the economic viability of agriculture.
