Assessment Information

Dear Bost Consumers and Families,

As you may know the State of Arkansas has been discussing possible changes in Medicaid funded services, including for individuals with developmental disabilities.  All of the details are not known at this time; however, the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDS) will begin assessments of adults receiving Waiver services and in ICF facilities starting this November.  It will be important to have as complete assessment as possible because in the future eligibility for specific services may depend on the level of care needed as determined by the assessment.

Please see the attached letter from DDS. It is our understanding that DDS will start mailing this letter to select individuals in the near future.  We are sharing the letter with you are this time, and also offering to answer questions that you may have.  If you would like more information or have questions please contact Jeff Lambert, Associate Executive Director at 479-478-5596.
