I first found out about Bost through a friend. I volunteered for years in Oklahoma with people with mental disabilities. And I loved it. I enjoyed the Bost Team June 2015 and although it can be challenging at times, I love my job.

 

I have learned so much information about the different disabilities of our consumers. Information that has made me better at my job and in my personal life with family and friends with disabilities.

 

I truly hope that people would start looking at the world through the eyes of someone with special needs. Not seeing gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. Just seeing an extra special person with a lot of knowledge to give. The world would be a much better place.
