  1. How long have you been with Bost? 23 years
  2. How did you first get involved with Bost, and what sparked that interest?  I actually started working for Bost the first time in 1991. I started in the Preschool Program working in a classroom. I am proud to say I was a part of  the integrating  of children with and without disabilities into the same classrooms. I think it is very important to teach children at an early age to be accepting of people based on their ability not their disability.
  3. What does your job entail?  I currently work as the Director of ADC/Work Development. My job is to provide the best services we can to the people we serve.
  4. What has surprised you most about working with Bost? I continue to be surprised at how many people in our local community really do not understand all the amazing things Bost does. 
  5. What do you hope will be different about the world we live in as a result of what you do here? I hope we educate the world we live in we are people first and we all have disabilities. Our disabilities are just different.
  6. Is there an achievement or contribution that you are most proud of? I am proud to say I have been given the opportunity to work with amazing people. I am proud to say I am a mom to 3 wonderful children. 
  7. What do you think other people should know about Bost? I think people should know Bost provides opportunities to the people we serve to live their best lives.
  8. What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far? The best career lesson I have learned so far is I have a chance to make a difference everyday and it is my choice what I do with that chance.
  9. What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this? I have had opportunities to make a career change many times but, I can’t imagine doing anything else.
  10. Before working at Bost, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had? I worked many years ago at T.J. Cinnamons. This was an opportunity to do something else I love which is baking.
  11. What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13? I would like to tell my young teenage self, life is short, focus on places you can make a difference.
  12. Three words to best describe you: Dedicated, Committed and Honest 
  13. What do you like to do when you aren’t working? When I am not working, I love to garden, travel and make memories with the ones I love.
  14. What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know? A fun fact is I love to do a little interior decorating for others.
  15. Where’s your favorite place in the world? My favorite place in the world is vacation anywhere with my children. 
  16. If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why? I would love to meet Dale Chihuly. He is an outstanding glass artist and the beauty in his work is amazing. I would just like to witness his creativity at work.
  17. What is the one thing you can’t live without? I always want to have a part in my children’s lives.
  18. If you could have any superpower, what would it be? The one superpower I would like to have teleportation. It would allow many to travel more.
  19. What is one food that you cannot resist? One food I cannot resist is fresh pineapple.
  20. Is there anything else you would like to share with me? I am thankful every day for the opportunities I have been given. I am all about making memories because at the end of the day, those will be what matters most.
