What Are Our Needs?

It may be hard to believe, but 2019 marks 60 years that BOST has been an integral part of this amazing community, providing services to those that need the most help. While many things have changed over the last 60 years, what has remained consistent is this community’s dedication to continuously supporting our mission.  Today, Bost serves over 1,000 individuals with disabilities and mental health needs; something far beyond what our founder, Dr. Roger Bost, could have ever imagined.  Through the years, services have been funded primarily through government programs, which has made it essential for us to have alternate sources to ensure we can continue meeting the needs of those we serve.

Some of those additional funds come from event fundraising, such as Grape Escapes, but we largely rely on those in our community with a giving spirit.  Above and beyond any monetary donations, we are also extremely happy to receive in-kind donations, such as supplies for classes, office supplies, toys, and other items needed by our programs daily.  We recently began using Amazon to share our needs with our community!  You can purchase an item directly from Amazon that will be delivered to the program in need.  All donations are used locally to continue providing the quality services and support needed by those in Bost’s care.

If you have anything you’d like to donate, please contact Jeanne Hill at 479-478-5556 to discuss your donation.  All donations will be acknowledged for tax purposes.
